The continued practice of yoga will lead you to a sense of peace and well-being, and also a feeling of being at one with the environment. The practice of yoga makes the body strong and flexible, it also improves the functioning of the respiratory, circulatory, digestive, and hormonal systems. Yoga brings about emotional stability and clarity of mind.

Kate offers Vinyasa / Hatha style yoga classes, and Yin Yoga classes, to suit all levels, with options for each individual.

Yoga mats are provided, you are also welcome to bring your own. 

Bring a towel and water bottle for your own comfort.

Salt Yoga - Yin Yoga

Yin yoga is a wonderfully relaxing, and deeply healing style of yoga. Yin is all about providing the joints and muscles time to fully stretch and release tension, creating more freedom and flexibility. All postures are seated, laying on the back or stomach, with options for all abilities.

This class is guided by Kate in the Salt Haven room at Saltacious, with ionized salt diffused into the air, creating a detoxing and cleansing experience. Salt is known to help remove toxins from the lungs and respiratory tract, as well as cleansing the skin! 

A typical class begins with guided meditation and breathing practices, followed by yoga postures to release tension in the hips, back and shoulders, finishing with full body relaxation techniques. This class is ideal for those wanting to retreat from the world, create more balance in the body, and release the stress and tension from everyday life! 

Vinyasa - Hatha Yoga 

Vinyasa - Hatha classes are a gentle flow from one posture to the next, focusing on creating a strong and flexible body. These classes are held in the front foyer at Saltacious, 

A typical class begins with breathing techniques to energize the body and centre the mind, flowing into sun salutations and then yoga postures for strength and flexibility. The class always finishes with guided meditation to relax and rejuvenate the entire body.
